Director, Corporate Development – M&A Integration, Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assess organizational compatibility, identify integration challenges, evaluate operational preparedness, and highlight concerns during due diligence.

• Facilitate cross-functional due diligence workstreams and consolidate findings into actionable recommendations for deal leaders.

• Oversee integration planning and execution for acquisitions from late-stage due diligence to steady-state operations.

• Spearhead change management, employee retention strategies, and organizational transitions.

• Transform deal theses into actionable functional plans, assigning owners, setting milestones, identifying risks, and establishing decision points.

• Collaborate with GTM Operations on initiatives related to commercial integration workstreams.

• Monitor integration KPIs and synergy realization in alignment with deal theses.

• Inform deal sponsors and executive leadership about milestones, progress, risks, obstacles, and recommendations.

• Conduct integration retrospectives and leverage learned lessons for future diligence and planning.

• Develop diligence templates, integration playbooks, and data and AI tools for the corporate development function.

• Implement AI-driven workflows to enhance integration planning, governance schedules, and reusable templates.

• Connect deal teams with the larger organization throughout the due diligence and integration processes.

• Manage dependencies, facilitate decision-making, and ensure that multi-stakeholder workstreams remain on track.

• Identify opportunities for Falcon Fund portfolio companies to enhance product, go-to-market, or ecosystem alignment with CrowdStrike.

• Oversee and support the Falcon Fund portfolio, including quarterly business reviews, partnership coordination, financial reporting oversight, and synergy identification.

• Prepare regular updates on portfolio performance, activities, and strategic alignment with CrowdStrike.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate development, hands-on M&A integration, or management consulting with a focus on technology.

• Proven experience in leading comprehensive M&A integrations across various transaction types, including acqui-hires, platform acquisitions, asset purchases, and mergers.

• Strong program management capabilities.

• Ability to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder workstreams without direct authority.

• Clear and concise communication skills with executives, functional partners, and founders.

• Proficient in managing senior stakeholders.

• Initiative and judgment to define a function lacking an existing framework.

• Familiarity with data and AI tools.

• A strong interest in developing efficient, measurable operational methods.

• Background in software, cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS.

• Understanding commercial integration activities such as customer transitions, contract migrations, sales coverage, GTM systems, customer success handoffs, and field execution.

• Experience in collaborating with GTM and sales operations teams on enterprise go-to-market integration.

• Experience managing or overseeing a portfolio of strategic investments.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
