This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Lead strategic initiatives within the designated region
• Formulate medium- and long-term growth strategies and profitability objectives
• Assess and suggest emerging industry trends and expansion possibilities
• Manage operational relationships while providing technical expertise and oversight for regional business development
• Prepare and present detailed business reviews and recommendations to leadership
• Evaluate and implement sales office expansion opportunities alongside territory growth plans
• Negotiate entry into new strategic accounts
• Assist in the introduction and growth of Hispanic brands within mainstream accounts, collaborating with sales leadership
• Identify, assess, and communicate product-market alignment, differentiation, and brand value
• Establish and endorse sustainable growth objectives for strategic accounts and distributors
• Design, create, monitor, and implement promotional activity plans and budgets
• Manage and oversee staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, development, coaching, and disciplinary measures
• Evaluate and develop sales best practices and operational efficiencies
• Supervise sales office KPIs, analyze discrepancies, and execute corrective actions
• Create and drive the regional sales strategy focusing on shopper segments, distribution channels, and new business development
• Monitor sales, profitability, and territory expansion targets
• Administer the sales compensation program in coordination with Finance
• Analyze the competitive landscape and implement adjustments to the sales program
• Develop and tailor Hispanic Brands KPI analysis tools and manage pricing and profitability tools
• Collaborate with and lead projects among Category Management, IT, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Six (6) years of progressive experience in business development or trade marketing
• Five (5) years of experience in consumer packaged goods
• Three (3) years of management experience demonstrating the ability to lead multicultural teams
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, encompassing reading, writing, and speaking
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
• Skilled at identifying complex issues, evaluating alternatives, and suggesting effective solutions
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail
• Capable of communicating across all organizational levels and presenting complex concepts clearly and concisely
• Skilled at building professional relationships with national accounts of Hispanic Brands and cross-functional teams
• Ability to influence and inspire team members to meet sales targets
• Strong project management capabilities
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds
• Capable of sitting for a complete shift of at least eight hours
• Ability to stand and walk as necessary, including standing for periods of at least two hours at a time or for extended durations
• Adequate hearing to comprehend spoken words, sounds, alarms, and other workplace communications
