Director, Asset Management – Equipment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Direct the Asset Management division for Equipment Finance.

• Deliver valuation analysis and assistance to the Working Capital and Structured Finance teams.

• Supervise machinery and equipment collateral valuations, lease residual setting, pricing, deal structuring, advance-rate recommendations, and pricing evaluations.

• Create and manage collateral policies and procedures within the Equipment Finance sector.

• Oversee the performance, development, and workflow of the Asset Management team.

• Manage lease returns, equipment buyouts, loan payoffs, and Fair Market Value assessments.

• Handle equipment remarketing and cultivate a network of third-party resellers and appraisers.

• Supervise quarterly and annual collateral evaluations, including true lease residual impairment testing.

• Evaluate appraisals and establish scopes of work for third-party appraisal services.

• Oversee equipment inspections, including the selection of inspectors and criteria for inspections.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.

• Generally, 8+ years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.

• Capability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

• Ability to collaborate and influence at various levels, both internally and externally.

• Strong knowledge of collateral and valuation across various asset classes.

• Excellent negotiation abilities.

• Proficient in managing personnel.
