This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the analytics collaborator for Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Finance, and Football Operations.
• Manage the intake and prioritization of analytics projects throughout the organization.
• Organize requests into a visible backlog and align them with roadmap commitments.
• Develop and sustain revenue models related to ticket pricing, yield management, demand forecasting, and customer lifetime value.
• Identify fan segments and target groups for retention and acquisition initiatives.
• Assess ROI and performance metrics for marketing campaigns, sales activities, partnership engagements, and pricing strategies.
• Spearhead the transition to interactive self-service analytics tools.
• Oversee enterprise dashboards that track key organizational KPIs.
• Manage definitions of metrics, calculation methodologies, data sources, and standards for consistency.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of analytical outputs.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineer on the underlying data pipelines and address data quality concerns.
• Guide and mentor emerging analytics professionals.
• Foster data fluency throughout the organization.
• Engage in standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.
• Keep analytics initiatives transparent, scoped, and prioritized in conjunction with engineering and CRM efforts.
• Report directly to the VP of Data & Business Intelligence.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or business-related field (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar).
• A combination of education and practical experience may be acceptable.
• 5–7 years of professional experience in analytics.
• Direct responsibility for business-facing models, such as pricing, demand forecasting, customer lifetime value, segmentation, or campaign response.
• Proven history of work that influenced business decisions.
• Analytics experience in the sports, entertainment, or live events sectors.
• Practical experience with ticketing and revenue data, including systems like Ticketmaster/Archtics or similar.
• Experience in leading a transition from manual, static reporting to a self-service analytics framework.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex query writing and optimization against modern cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with data modeling and contemporary stacks, including dbt, BigQuery, and ETL/ELT concepts.
• Proficient in Python or R for analysis and modeling tasks.
• Capable of building forecasts, conducting statistical tests, and validating results.
• Advanced proficiency with modern BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Experience in designing self-service, interactive dashboards.
• Ability to convey analysis to non-technical audiences and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and eager to remain hands-on.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Capacity to lift 15 pounds occasionally.
• Preferred: advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• Preferred: experience with CRM and marketing automation data, including HubSpot or Salesforce.
• Preferred: background in mentoring or directing junior analysts, interns, or fellows.
