Director – AI Transformation

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive AI transformation initiatives from initial diagnosis to final delivery.

• Act as the main point of contact for client relationships and take responsibility for engagement results.

• Create transformation roadmaps tailored to client constraints and oversee their implementation.

• Identify valuable AI use cases and develop prototypes from concept to functional product.

• Collaborate closely with client internal teams to build hands-on solutions.

• Simplify complex AI concepts, technical limitations, and strategic trade-offs for boards, C-suite executives, and frontline staff.

• Contribute to business development efforts and outline new engagement opportunities.

• Strengthen relationships with current clients as their requirements evolve.

• Utilize AI tools across both internal and client workflows.

• Help refine Human Agency's delivery practices, learning strategies, and organizational growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting, venture-backed startups, product strategy, or a combination of these fields.

• Direct accountability for outcomes, rather than merely deliverables.

• Proven history of transforming AI concepts into practical applications within an organizational setting.

• Expertise in foundational models, workflow automation, and prompt engineering.

• Able to discern when to build, buy, or recommend against certain solutions.

• Demonstrated capability to manage senior-level client relationships effectively.

• Skilled in navigating organizational dynamics, managing uncertainty, and ensuring complex engagements remain on course.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Experience in drafting executive briefs, facilitating working sessions, and articulating technical architecture to non-technical audiences.

• Background in developing products from inception to launch and delivering tools or solutions.

• Strong self-management and accountability skills.

• A demonstrated curiosity about AI through hands-on experimentation.

• Capable of balancing strategic vision with meticulous execution.

• Willingness to meet the demands of the work.
