Director, Accounts Receivable

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in the strategic and operational oversight of accounts receivable functions within the revenue cycle.

• Ensure prompt resolution of outstanding accounts, optimize cash flow, and maintain compliance with client and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with the Director to enhance performance metrics related to Net AR Days, aging reduction, and the resolution of high-dollar accounts.

• Execute process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.

• Supervise accounts receivable teams and oversee daily operations.

• Handle client and payer escalations effectively.

• Analyze the root causes of delays and formulate corrective actions.

• Work alongside cross-functional leaders to synchronize accounts receivable strategies with organizational objectives.

• Utilize data analytics to monitor trends and predict performance outcomes.

• Oversee daily department operations and track progress for emerging issues.

• Develop training programs or processes to address identified challenges.

• Conduct huddles to discuss new or evolving training focuses.

• Monitor floor performance and evaluate worked accounts for quality assurance.

• Experience in managing accounts receivable workflows, KPIs, aging reduction, high-dollar account resolution, client and payer escalations, and process improvements.

• Competence in analyzing root causes, devising corrective actions, and employing data analytics to monitor trends and forecast performance.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional leaders while ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
