This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Lead and oversee the G/L Accounting team for North America, covering both US and Canadian entities.

• Take ownership of the monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS closing procedures.

• Manage the complete financial audit process from start to finish.

• Ensure a consistently high standard of balance sheet quality.

• Prepare monthly profit and loss reports for the CFO, senior management, and headquarters.

• Act as the primary liaison for internal decision-makers, auditors, and tax advisors.

• Propel process enhancements, the integration of new technologies and AI tools, as well as strategic initiatives such as the SAP S/4HANA implementation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• CPA, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification is preferred.

• Extensive, hands-on expertise in IFRS.

• Familiarity with US GAAP is advantageous.

• Several years of leadership experience in accounting, preferably within an international corporate setting.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across different time zones, cultures, and organizational levels.

• Proficient with SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Awareness of emerging technologies.

• Organized and solution-focused with a proactive approach.

• Capable of communicating complex topics clearly at all levels.

• Fluency in English is essential.

• Proficiency in German is a plus.
