This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Develop and implement the operational strategy for ABL servicing and collateral management.
• Align operational capabilities with the objectives of business growth.
• Lead efforts for operational integration related to acquisitions, portfolio purchases, and mergers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and operational risk standards.
• Oversee issue management, audit remediation, business continuity planning, and effectiveness of controls.
• Maintain governance over access management and operational approvals.
• Direct activities related to ABL servicing, collateral monitoring, and structural services.
• Oversee the administration and maintenance of collateral monitoring systems, deal onboarding, facility implementation, balancing functions, system setup, and portfolio boarding.
• Establish scalable operating procedures and performance benchmarks.
• Drive initiatives for continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for operational systems.
• Lead system implementations, upgrades, and conversions.
• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Act as a liaison among ABL leadership, Risk, Audit, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
• Provide reporting, analytics, and operational insights to senior management.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing operations team.
• Establish succession planning and leadership development programs.
• Conduct analysis for gearing and other inputs for the Head of ABL to facilitate financial analysis and budgeting.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
• Establish and monitor KPIs and SLAs.
• Utilize metrics to drive accountability and foster continuous improvement.
• Lead organizational change initiatives and the adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Support regulatory examinations and respond to inquiries from examiners.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of experience in banking, commercial finance, asset-based lending, or a related financial services sector.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience in managing teams.
• Experience in managing operational risk, controls, and programs for regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and operational change initiatives.
• Demonstrated success in managing large-scale operational processes and teams.
• Expertise in asset-based lending.
• Familiarity with collateral monitoring platforms.
• Experience in M&A integration.
• Certification in Lean/Six Sigma.
• Advanced skills in data analytics or reporting.
• Experience in leading teams across multiple geographic locations.
• Exposure to regulatory examinations and audit management.
• Knowledge of commercial lending structures, collateral monitoring, and portfolio performance.
• Ability to leverage operational metrics for informed decision-making.
