This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Deliver technical services to designated Beauty and Personal Care clients to enhance sales growth.
• Employ a consultative, needs-based technical approach to assess customer technologies.
• Modify and implement localized product strategies and services.
• Support field sales representatives and industry team members during collaborative customer visits.
• Identify appropriate Univar technological products for client applications and formulate adoption or conversion strategies.
• Cultivate profitable sales and establish enduring customer partnerships leveraging industry expertise.
• Utilize Univar resources to address customer needs and accumulate market intelligence.
• Foster customer relationships and pursue new product opportunities.
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations on cosmetic formulations for customer R&D divisions.
• Provide technical assistance to customer R&D teams.
• Visit clients for high-profit projects and establish technical credibility.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, which includes proposals, samples, and visits.
• Actively seek new business prospects and keep track of competitive activities.
• Represent suppliers and share market insights while adhering to compliance standards.
• Keep abreast of technological innovations, regulatory changes, and legislation.
• Maintain the CRM system and create targeted business opportunities.
• Bachelor's degree (technical or Chemistry preferred).
• A minimum of five years of relevant experience in the Beauty and Personal Care sector, with specialized product knowledge.
• Experience interacting with customers at various organizational levels, both internal and external, and with supplier partners.
• Proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage complex projects while multitasking.
• Aptitude for managing detailed work tasks and following up diligently.
• Demonstrated tact, integrity, and high ethical standards in business.
• Ability to comprehend current market challenges and align sales initiatives with company goals.
• Proven selling skills and ability to multitask effectively.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly.
• Fluency in both French and English, in spoken and written forms.
