This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.
• Assist with daily living activities, which include meal preparation, hygiene maintenance, and organization.
• Facilitate community engagement by supporting shopping, errands, and recreational outings.
• Offer emotional regulation assistance through calm and structured methods.
• Establish clear boundaries and maintain consistent expectations.
• Aid in the upkeep and organization of household tasks.
• Promote independence and foster personal responsibility among clients.
• Relay updates to care teams and ensure all necessary documentation is completed.
• Help sustain a safe, predictable, and respectful living environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• A valid driver's license and dependable transportation are necessary.
• Current auto insurance that meets state standards is mandatory.
• Ability to successfully clear a background check (not all records are disqualifying).
• Comfort in providing personal care assistance is essential.
• Preferred: Experience in caregiving, Direct Support Professional (DSP), behavioral support, or roles related to intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
• Preferred: Background in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).
• Preferred: Strong communication skills and the ability to set boundaries effectively.
• Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification is advantageous.
