Direct Support Professional, DSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oregon.

📋 Description

• Assist with daily living activities, such as meals, personal hygiene, and organization.

• Facilitate community engagement, including shopping, errands, and outings.

• Provide support for emotional regulation through calm and structured methods.

• Establish clear boundaries and maintain consistent expectations.

• Help with household maintenance and organization.

• Promote independence and personal accountability.

• Communicate updates to care teams effectively.

• Complete necessary documentation as required.

• Contribute to a safe, predictable, and respectful environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.

• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

• Current auto insurance that meets state regulations.

• Ability to successfully pass a background check.

• Comfortable in providing support for personal care needs.

• Preferred: Experience in caregiving, direct support professional (DSP), behavioral support, or intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) roles.

• Preferred: Experience assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

• Preferred: Strong skills in communication and setting boundaries.

• Preferred: CPR/First Aid certification.

• No previous DSP experience necessary; paid training will be provided.
