Digital Product Owner – Home Automation, IoT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership, prioritize, and oversee the product backlog for digital services and applications throughout their lifecycle.

• Function as the Agile Product Owner for digital solutions, including mobile applications, integrations, licensing models, user journeys, digital marketplaces, partner portals, and web platforms.

• Convert long-term business strategies and product visions into actionable short-term development roadmaps, user stories, and technical requirements.

• Collaborate with R&D, IT, UX/UI, and business stakeholders to guarantee successful implementation, testing, and launch of digital solutions.

• Evaluate customer needs, pain points, and market opportunities to identify features and enhancements that provide measurable value.

• Perform competitor and market analyses to assess industry trends and enhance product positioning.

• Ensure the continuous delivery of high-quality solutions through Agile development practices, MVPs, and sprint-based releases.

• Work with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams to align priorities and drive product success.

• Assist in product launches and educate internal sales, marketing, and product teams about digital service offerings and their value propositions.

• Track product performance and initiate continuous improvement efforts based on customer feedback and business outcomes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a comparable role delivering digital products and services.

• In-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, backlog management, and product lifecycle management.

• Demonstrated capability to transform business needs into user stories, requirements, and effective digital solutions.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills in international and cross-functional settings.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer-centric product development.

• Professional proficiency in German (B2+).

• Fluent in English.

• Experience in IoT, connected devices, or smart home solutions is a significant advantage.
