This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the digital strategy, operational framework, and value realization for autonomous, AI-driven chemistry control throughout the portfolio.
• Ensure that data products and investments in data science evolve from mere models and dashboards into reliable, scalable capabilities that facilitate measurable improvements in cost, quality, throughput, and sustainability outcomes.
• Collaborate with data science, engineering, product, and commercial teams to pinpoint the highest-value optimization opportunities, articulate the right business questions, and spearhead the development of capabilities that enhance: Chemistry optimization and minimize overspending in high-cost, high-variability applications, Process stability, target adherence, and reduced variation, Throughput, yield, and sustainability outcomes.
• Responsible for guaranteeing that autonomous chemistry control provides measurable value through: A prioritized collection of transformational data use cases linked to defensible value propositions, Decision-ready value narratives that convert data science results into actionable insights that leaders and customers can trust, Scalable productization and governance that apply proven optimization strategies across sectors with consistency and trust, Tangible value from autonomous-control use cases—decreased chemistry usage, lower variation, and improved target adherence that translate into cost and sustainability benefits, Enhanced executive, commercial, and customer acceptance of autonomous control; expedited, clearer decision-making; and minimized conflicting value claims through governance and real-time value realization.
• Over 15 years of experience in a global corporate environment.
• More than 10 years as a data science product owner or data product leader in industrial, process, manufacturing, chemicals, energy, or similar asset-intensive sectors.
• Familiarity with connected services product strategy and a commitment to continuous customer engagement and operational efficiency.
• Proven track record in managing AI/ML-driven product strategy and realizing value.
• Certifications in leading data/AI or cloud platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Azure/MS Fabric) and/or product ownership (CSPO, SAFe) are highly regarded.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, engineering, data science, or chemical/process discipline; an advanced degree or MBA is preferred.
