Digital Marketing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Post regularly on Instagram and other similar platforms

• Expand the audience beyond friends and current contacts

• Craft warm, polished, and personalized captions and copy

• Generate innovative content ideas that align with the brand and founder's vision

• Manage Shopify product pages, collections, and inventory

• Independently handle low-volume updates for the Shopify store

• Refresh the website as needed, typically once every quarter

• Ensure that 1stDibs listings are accurate, polished, and up-to-date

• Understand how buyers search and browse on 1stDibs

• Make adjustments to enhance marketplace visibility

• Utilize ChatGPT, Zapier, or similar AI and automation tools to minimize repetitive tasks

• Establish straightforward workflow automations

• Monitor basic social media and website performance metrics

• Identify effective strategies, areas for improvement, and recommend actions

• Provide occasional light support to another business owned by the founder

⛳️ Requirements

• Capability to independently manage a Shopify store, including product pages, inventory, and basic updates

• Experience in posting for and expanding a brand's social media presence

• Familiarity with using AI tools to streamline repetitive tasks; no technical expertise required

• Ability to take initiative and work autonomously without close supervision

• Comfort in working directly with a solo founder

• Strong writing abilities and a keen sense for brand voice

• Organizational skills and reliability in handling recurring tasks

• High attention to detail for luxury-brand presentation

• Required English proficiency level selection, with options ranging from A1 to C1

• Preferred: background in a jewelry, luxury, or e-commerce brand

• Preferred: familiarity with online marketplaces such as 1stDibs

• Preferred: practical experience with automation tools like Zapier

• Preferred: skills in content creation or basic design and photography, such as using Canva or simple photo editing

• Preferred: comfort with basic social media and website analytics
