Digital Insurance Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.

• Facilitate project planning meetings with both the internal team and client personnel.

• Assist in developing solution proposals for client engagements, including proposals and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).

• Take part in the proposal and PoC procedures, which encompass design, submission, and review.

• Aid in drafting contracts and managing communication with clients.

• Recognize and help secure opportunities for growth with current clients.

• Oversee project progress and adjust tasks as necessary.

• Ensure that projects adhere to their deadlines.

• Conduct regular weekly project reviews and generate reports featuring key metrics regarding team and project status utilizing company-standard metrics.

• Supervise all incoming and outgoing project documentation.

• Identify and manage issues, risks, assumptions, and dependencies.

• Continuously seek to optimize and enhance processes and overall methodologies as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Project Manager.

• At least 3 years of experience within the insurance sector.

• Knowledge of the insurance domain is essential.

• Significant client-facing experience is required.

• Technical expertise is advantageous.

• Proven experience overseeing projects from inception to completion.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of resourcefulness.

• Demonstrated success in completing projects within defined scope, budget, and timeline.

• Self-driven and capable of working autonomously.

• Eager and enthusiastic to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup setting.

• Must reside in Canada.
