This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop effective digital fundraising, advocacy, and engagement strategies alongside clients and team members.
• Foster client relationships through consistent email and phone communication, weekly check-ins, and strategy presentations.
• Take ownership of overall client projects, ensuring that deliverables align with client objectives.
• Manage projects as necessary, coordinating tasks across different levels.
• Create and refine email fundraising appeals, action alerts, website content, social media posts, advertising copy, and other digital creative materials.
• Supervise campaign launches using client email and SMS platforms.
• Assist with quality assurance during peak periods.
• Formulate testing plans and evaluate data from email, web, advertising, and social campaigns.
• Delegate and assess the work of junior staff, offering constructive feedback, coaching, and support.
• Establish systems for knowledge sharing, strategic innovation, and growth in fundraising.
• Promote inclusivity within teams and throughout M+R.
• Meticulously track client hours.
• Implement digital fundraising, membership, and advocacy initiatives for nonprofit clients to enhance revenue, achieve campaign goals, and strengthen brand loyalty.
• 5–7 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years focused on digital fundraising.
• Proven experience managing a small-dollar online fundraising program for a nonprofit or electoral campaign, or providing consultancy for such initiatives at an agency.
• Demonstrated capability to create and execute cross-channel digital strategies involving email, advertising, organic social, and SMS.
• Extensive experience in drafting and editing fundraising creative, specifically email and landing page content.
• Familiarity with integrating digital fundraising efforts with offline direct response fundraising, including direct mail and telemarketing.
• Proven ability to facilitate meetings to establish project goals and ensure successful results.
• Experience mentoring and supporting the professional development of junior staff or interns.
• Strong persuasive communication skills through phone, face-to-face, and written interactions.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
• Proficient in writing clearly, concisely, and logically.
• Proven adaptability in acquiring new skills on the job, including the ability to learn new technologies.
