Digital Forensics Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct forensically sound collections of electronically stored information from laptops, desktops, mobile devices, hard drives, servers, and cloud data sources both onsite and remotely.

• Validate, extract, and analyze data to support investigations and litigation efforts.

• Deliver proactive status updates to both internal and external stakeholders.

• Prepare remote collection kits for future deployment.

• Log and track evidence while updating chain of custody records.

• Adhere to best practices in evidence management.

• Record billable hours and descriptions in the billing system.

• Execute other related tasks as assigned.

• Collaborate effectively with senior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• A minimum of two years of experience in Digital Forensic collections and analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Outstanding attention to detail along with strong organizational abilities.

• Capability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure while maintaining composure.

• Ability to collaborate with various teams within the Company.

• Training, experience, and/or certifications with forensic tools such as Axiom, EnCase, Forensic Toolkit, Cellebrite, Verakey/Graykey, ModeOne, or other open-source forensic tools.

• Experience with data collection, preservation, and chain of custody protocols and procedures.

• Proven experience collecting data from Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android devices.

• Availability for occasional on-call duties and work outside of standard hours may be necessary.

• Willingness to travel occasionally via automobile, airline, or other common modes of transport.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
