This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Act as the organization's expert in digital experimentation and decision science.
• Manage the complete experimentation process, which includes identifying and evaluating opportunities, defining crucial decisions, selecting success metrics and testing methodologies, and translating findings into recommendations and future testing strategies.
• Supervise the design, execution, and analysis of digital experiments aimed at optimizing donor and supporter engagement and conversion across various digital channels and platforms.
• Establish and lead governance, training, processes, and support systems to promote experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
• Identify training needs and educate internal users on statistical methodologies and best practices in experimentation.
• Oversee the operations of experimentation tools and technology, collaborating with Product on capabilities, enhancements, best practices, and use cases.
• Guide the process of defining, hypothesizing, testing, evaluating, reporting, and implementing digital experiments.
• Develop statistical insights and best practices in decision science.
• Manage centralized resources, templates, and repositories related to experimentation.
• Collaborate with product teams to create educational curricula and apply experimentation tools and techniques.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, along with 5+ years of direct experience in strategically supporting scaled testing, experimentation, and decision science within a large organization, including 3+ years of proven experience in training and governing others in experimentation methodologies; OR 8+ years of direct experience without a degree.
• Proficient in balancing pragmatism with robust measurement to design and execute experiments, including A/B/n testing and pre-post analysis.
• Experience in coaching and mentoring junior team members and guiding work through others.
• Proven ability to tackle complex problems, draw conclusions from data, and utilize analytical skills to identify solutions.
• Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and capability to deliver projects that support multiple business partners.
• Experience in conducting user research, encompassing usability testing, online surveys, focus groups, user observation, and field research.
• Practical understanding of quantitative, behavioral analysis, and statistical concepts.
• Familiarity with user interface design processes and methodologies, as well as user-centered design principles and practices.
• Experience with Agile methodology and Jira.
• Ability to partner with cross-functional team members and develop innovative approaches to problem-solving.
