This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate account performance and generate monthly reports on key KPIs, offering recommendations that encompass sell-through, forecasting, financial impacts, competitive analysis, promotional effectiveness, and emerging trends.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop, communicate, and execute the U.S. strategic vision, goals, and plans aimed at achieving EBITDA and sales objectives.
• Provide strategic, analytical, and e-commerce-oriented insights from various data sources to support 18-month and 3- to 5-year e-commerce strategies and plans.
• Oversee the creation of e-commerce business performance scorecards, actionable insights, and ad hoc analyses for business stakeholders.
• Set e-commerce KPIs for monthly reporting and data analysis, including the observation of competitive activities.
• Analyze vendor portal and third-party technology data for effective planning, forecasting, budgeting, financial impact assessment, and trend identification.
• Act as the authority on WD-40 item configurations, product changes, UPC revisions, and product dimensions.
• Utilize analytics and operational precision to make informed, data-driven decisions and recommendations for Amazon and pure-play sales teams.
• Communicate forecasts and identify solutions for in-stock issues, chargeback violations, ordering accuracy, and issue resolution.
• Work with Marketing and Sales to estimate potential new-item volumes and establish priority rankings.
• Monitor new product launches from inbound purchase orders to site enablement, track sales, and provide forecast recommendations.
• A Bachelor's degree in business, with a focus on data analytics, marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• 5-7 years of proven experience in sales and marketing analytics within the CPG sector or on the agency side relevant to e-Retail/CPG.
• Experience with Amazon is highly preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience providing strategic thought leadership related to e-commerce and effectively translating data concepts for business stakeholders.
• Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills and experience, including working with syndicated point-of-sale and internal account-specific consumption data.
