This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Supervise the creation and enhancement of digital analytics tools and platforms, including Google Analytics 4.
• Manage a global team of Digital Analytics Developers.
• Direct Avantor's web analytics ecosystem to ensure its thorough and precise implementation.
• Develop analytics tagging, event, integration, and platform roadmaps that align with business goals.
• Champion the global adoption of Google Analytics 4 across Avantor's web assets.
• Discover tracking opportunities aimed at enhancing customer experiences.
• Assist with web development projects, code releases, and IT and Digital Marketing initiatives that necessitate custom event tagging or dashboards.
• Collect data from both internal and external sources to design tailored tagging solutions and guide stakeholders in understanding the results.
• Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and support resources.
• Collaborate with business and marketing managers on web strategies and initiatives.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to pinpoint trends and opportunities in digital analytics.
• Support Adobe Target event tagging and Data Layer specifications.
• Draft concise reports for executive stakeholders highlighting key trends and recommendations.
• Define product requirements and roadmaps for analytics tools and platforms in partnership with engineering, design, and business teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to incorporate advanced analytics and machine learning models into products.
• Suggest data governance strategies and execute solutions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in digital marketing or a related area.
• 5 years of hands-on Product Management experience with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or comparable digital analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics.
• Experience in transitioning from Universal Analytics to GA4.
• Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics Tagging.
• Strong understanding of e-marketing channels.
• Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Capability to present concepts and reporting data to Manager, Director, and VP-level business users and external clients.
• Strong Project Management abilities.
• Capacity to work independently to achieve objectives set by Digital Marketing leadership.
• Ability to build business relationships across teams and comprehend business operations.
• Excellent attention to detail coupled with strong organizational skills.
• Skill in managing multiple work requests and projects.
