This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Promote and sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, associated products, and services within a designated U.S. sales territory.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to enhance retention rates.
• Meet budgeted sales targets within specific accounts.
• Regularly update and manage the sales funnel and customer profile information.
• Collaborate with colleagues at Zoetis to achieve objectives and support the Diagnostics division.
• Cultivate and maintain a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic products and services.
• Travel to current and potential customer locations, aiming for 3–4 existing customers and 3–4 new business opportunities each day.
• Safely transport, lift, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic solutions and equipment.
• Articulate product uses, benefits, and value propositions; respond to customer inquiries.
• Secure purchase orders from clients.
• Provide continuous support to customers via in-person visits, phone calls, and emails.
• Coordinate with sales, accounting, and technical teams to address customer needs effectively.
• Collaborate with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to enhance customer service and product usage.
• Generate new business opportunities and leads, including placing instruments in competitor facilities, academic institutions, and research environments.
• Assist with billing and collection processes.
• At least four years of proven sales experience or relevant technical/clinical background, ideally within the medical, scientific, or healthcare sectors.
• Minimum of an associate’s degree, preferably with a focus in science or business, or equivalent professional experience.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated early-adopter behaviors and a quick learning aptitude.
• Capability to absorb and apply technical information while exhibiting technical sales skills.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and science.
• Experience in selling capital equipment in medical or veterinary practices.
• Proficient in making presentations, including financial presentations, to various audience levels.
• Ability to transport, set up, and demonstrate equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Understanding of market trends, sales strategies, and business insights.
• Awareness of competitive landscape and value messaging.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work autonomously.
• Capacity to safely lift and move 60 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history and auto insurance.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.; sponsorship may be considered at Zoetis’s discretion.
• Field-based position involving travel within the assigned territory.
• Occasional overnight travel required (approximately 4–8 nights per month, depending on the territory).
