This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Promote and sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, related products, and services within a designated U.S. sales territory.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to optimize retention rates.
• Meet budgeted sales quotas across targeted accounts.
• Regularly update and manage the sales funnel and customer profile information.
• Collaborate with colleagues at Zoetis to achieve objectives and support the Diagnostics division.
• Develop and sustain a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic products and services.
• Travel to current and prospective customer locations, aiming to visit 3–4 existing clients and 3–4 new business opportunities daily.
• Document interactions with customers and prospects thoroughly within the online system.
• Transport, lift, set up, and showcase diagnostic solutions and equipment.
• Discuss product applications and advantages, respond to inquiries, and convey the value proposition.
• Secure purchase orders from clients.
• Offer continuous customer support through in-person visits, phone calls, and emails.
• Coordinate with sales, accounting, and technical teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to improve customer service and utilization.
• Generate new business and leads, including placing instruments in competitor locations, academic institutions, and research environments.
• Obtain referrals from existing clients.
• Assist in billing and collection efforts.
• Travel up to 60%–70% of the time, including approximately 4–8 overnight stays monthly.
• At least four years of proven sales experience or relevant technical/clinical background, ideally in the medical, scientific, or healthcare fields.
• A minimum of an associate's degree, preferably with a focus on science or business, or equivalent experience.
• Proficient in English.
• Knowledgeable in veterinary terminology and science.
• Experience in selling capital equipment in physician and/or veterinary clinics.
• Proficient in delivering presentations, including financial presentations, to various audience levels.
• Capable of transporting, setting up, and demonstrating equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and auto insurance are required.
• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
