This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Promote and sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, related products, and services within a designated U.S. sales territory.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to enhance retention rates.
• Meet and exceed budgeted sales targets within specified accounts.
• Regularly update and manage the sales funnel alongside customer profile information.
• Collaborate effectively with Zoetis team members to meet objectives and support the Diagnostics business unit.
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of diagnostic products and services.
• Engage with both existing and potential customers, aiming for visits to 3–4 existing clients and 3–4 new business opportunities daily.
• Document customer and prospect interactions meticulously within the online system.
• Safely transport, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic solutions and equipment.
• Articulate product uses, advantages, and value proposition while addressing customer inquiries.
• Secure purchase orders from clients.
• Offer continuous in-person, phone, and email support to customers.
• Coordinate with sales, accounting, and technical teams to fulfill customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Diagnostic Technical Specialists to enhance customer service and product utilization.
• Generate new business opportunities and leads, including placing instruments in competitor facilities, academic institutions, and research environments.
• Assist with billing and collection processes.
• A minimum of four years of proven sales experience or related technical/clinical expertise.
• At least an associate's degree, preferably focusing on science or business, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
• Demonstrated knowledge of veterinary terminology and science.
• Experience in selling capital equipment within physician or veterinary clinics.
• Competence in delivering presentations, including financial presentations.
• Ability to transport, set up, and demonstrate equipment swiftly and effectively.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Capability to multitask and work autonomously.
• A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance are required.
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 60 lbs.
• Must possess or secure authorization to work in the U.S. for Zoetis.
• Extensive travel required within the designated territory, including occasional overnight trips.
