This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Promote and sell Zoetis diagnostic instruments, tests, related products, and services within a designated sales territory in the US.
• Establish and nurture customer relationships to enhance customer loyalty.
• Meet and exceed sales targets within assigned accounts.
• Regularly update and manage the sales funnel and customer profile information.
• Collaborate with Zoetis team members to reach objectives and support the diagnostics sector.
• Travel within the designated territory, with travel requirements of up to 60%-70%.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of diagnostic products and services.
• Visit current and potential customer locations, aiming for 3-4 existing clients and 3-4 new business opportunities daily.
• Record all interactions with customers and prospects in the online system.
• Transport, lift, set up, and demonstrate diagnostic equipment and solutions.
• Clarify product and service applications and advantages, address inquiries, and convey value propositions.
• Obtain purchase orders from clients.
• Offer ongoing customer support in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Generate new business opportunities and leads, including placing instruments in competitor facilities, academic institutions, and research environments.
• Assist in billing and collection processes.
• At least 4 years of proven sales experience or relevant technical/clinical experience.
• A minimum of an Associate’s degree is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with a focus on science or business.
• Equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of an Associate’s degree.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
• In-depth knowledge of veterinary terminology and science.
• Proven track record in selling capital equipment in veterinary and/or physician clinics.
• Proficient in delivering presentations, including financial presentations, to various audiences.
• Capability to transport, set up, and effectively demonstrate equipment promptly.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management abilities.
• Capacity to multitask and work independently.
• Must be able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance are required.
