Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Regional Float, Evenings

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.

• Conduct a comprehensive range of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

• Collect and analyze data necessary for diagnosis as requested by a licensed practitioner for interpretation.

• Independently execute or support the licensed practitioner in radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

• Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure accurately.

• Confirm correct orders, patient identification, preparation, corroborated clinical history, and documentation.

• Apply imaging protocols and optimize technical factors while ensuring patient safety and adhering to ALARA principles.

• Assess images for proper positioning and technical quality.

• Verify archival storage, data transfer, and post-processing as necessary.

• Mentor and supervise students and other healthcare providers.

• Assist in fluoroscopic and specialized radiologic procedures.

• Execute diagnostic radiographic and non-interpretive fluoroscopic procedures in radiology and various clinical settings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Graduation from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).

• Bachelor's Degree in a Related Field of Study (Preferred).

• New graduates must obtain the ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire date.

• Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, are required to complete steps for advancing to level 2 within 24 months.

• Basic Life Support Certification.

• Radiography (R) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

• A minimum of 1 year of related work experience (Preferred).

• Capability to perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.

• Proficiency in preparing, administering, and documenting medications and radiation exposure in compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policies.

• Willingness to work evening shifts.

• Availability for a scheduled 40 hours per week.
