This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines that facilitate the delivery of ACWS applications and infrastructure.
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure utilizing Terraform, Ansible, and similar tools.
• Architect and implement AWS resources and cloud services for secure application hosting, integration, monitoring, and operational needs.
• Create and deploy secure containerized services leveraging OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Integrate security scanning, vulnerability detection, automated testing, and security gates within CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and maintain secure container images while upholding secure configuration standards.
• Administer and oversee containerization platforms, including maintenance, hardening, patching, storage, and service health monitoring.
• Assist in the secure deployment and operational integration of Appian-based application services.
• Diagnose issues related to pipelines, deployments, infrastructure, integrations, and environments.
• Collaborate with developers, Appian specialists, information assurance personnel, database administrators, and system architects.
• Enforce DoD cybersecurity protocols, including RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and STIG requirements.
• Create and update technical documentation, playbooks, configuration records, and operational procedures.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent relevant experience may also be considered.
• Over 6 years of experience in supporting DevOps, DevSecOps, cloud engineering, systems automation, or similar enterprise technology roles.
• Proven experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Experience in deploying and managing AWS or similar cloud solutions.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools and configuration automation.
• Knowledge of security automation, vulnerability scanning, and the integration of security controls into software delivery pipelines.
• Experience in Agile software development or enterprise operations environments.
• Active Secret clearance or the capability to obtain and maintain one.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Preferred experience with the Appian Platform.
• Experience or certification in Terraform or Ansible.
• CompTIA Security+, Linux+, or a comparable cybersecurity/Linux certification.
• AWS certification such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, or Security.
• Experience with Git-based workflows, Tekton, GitLab CI, or comparable CI/CD tools.
• Proficiency in BASH, Python, or Java scripting/programming.
• Experience applying NIST SP 800-53, RMF, or STIG requirements.
• SAFe or Agile DevOps certification and experience in supporting PI Planning or similar events.
