Developer Relations Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.

📋 Description

• Establish the Developer Relations function at Zenrows as the inaugural DevRel engineer

• Collaborate with the GTM team to merge technical advocacy with community engagement

• Build trust and assist developers in discovering, experimenting with, and integrating Zenrows

• Promote product adoption and enhance brand visibility within the developer community

• Deliver presentations and conduct technical workshops

• Partner with pertinent developer communities

• Manage the hackathon program, which includes sponsorships, speaking engagements, and event participation

• Interact with developers on platforms like Reddit, X, Discord, and other online forums

• Produce videos, demo content, templates, sample applications, open-source projects, GitHub contributions, starter kits, and developer integrations

• Gather community feedback and facilitate the feedback loop with product and engineering teams

• Assist in the development of technical documentation

• Ensure Zenrows becomes a key component of every proactive developer's technology stack

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript, or similar programming languages

• Comfortable working with APIs/SDKs, AI agents, and developing demos, applications, and integrations

• Proven experience in technical roles and community building

• Confident in front of a camera and on stage

• A portfolio of public work, including videos, talks, demos, repositories, or articles

• Demonstrated history of organizing events, presentations, or community initiatives

• Actively involved in AI/agent developer ecosystems like GitHub, Reddit, Discord, Hacker News, or Stack Overflow

• Experience in building developer ecosystems, open-source projects, or technical communities from the ground up

• Impact-driven mindset focused on API integrations, open-source adoption, and community engagement that leads to active customers

• Strong technical writing skills

• Must be adept at making significant decisions and managing the function autonomously

• Enthusiasm for developing, delegating, and owning AI agents as part of daily operations

• Willing to document and revise workflows

• Successful completion of background checks

• Bonus: Possession of an existing audience, hands-on web scraping experience, knowledge of proxies/browser automation/anti-bots, or experience in organizing hackathons
