DevOps Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee and enhance Jenkins pipelines along with deployment workflows

• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks for system provisioning and configuration

• Automate the building and resetting of staging and demo environments

• Enhance the consistency between staging and production environments

• Identify and automate repetitive operational tasks

• Support and improve monitoring systems utilizing Zabbix and Grafana

• Document automation procedures and best practices

• Assist with additional responsibilities as assigned to aid IT and development operations

• Report directly to the IT Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Systems Administration, or Automation roles

• Extensive hands-on experience with Jenkins and Ansible

• Strong Linux administration skills

• Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or similar languages

• Experience in supporting CI/CD processes within a production environment

• Familiarity with deploying and supporting containerized applications

• Working knowledge of Zabbix and Grafana

• Demonstrated ability to enhance workflow efficiency in hosted or SaaS environments

• Capability to develop and maintain automated, consistent staging environments

• Ability to minimize manual deployment tasks through repeatable processes

• Strong understanding of standardized system configuration using Ansible

• Proven ability to construct and document stable CI/CD pipelines

• Must be a resident of Ontario, Canada

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities

• Willingness to work both remotely and on-site as requested
