DevOps Forward Deployed Engineer – AI & Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee scalable cloud and AI infrastructures utilizing ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, and AI platform services.

• Maintain infrastructure security, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Develop automated CI/CD pipelines and manage version-controlled Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, GitHub, Azure DevOps, and cloud/AI tools.

• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting across multi-cloud and AI infrastructure environments.

• Enhance performance and mitigate operational incidents.

• Facilitate discovery workshops and present solution demonstrations.

• Collect technical requirements and establish credibility with enterprise client stakeholders.

• Design cloud adoption roadmaps and lead client engagements.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7+ Years in Cloud & DevOps Engineering: Extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing enterprise cloud infrastructure.

• 5+ Years of Cloud or AI Platform Expertise: Profound hands-on experience with Anthropic, OpenAI, or AWS environments, serverless architectures, and containerized workloads.

• 3+ Years in Consulting or Client-Facing Roles: Demonstrated ability to operate independently—leading workload assessments, architecting cloud adoption roadmaps, and engaging clients with minimal oversight.

• Advanced proficiency in Terraform, container orchestration (such as AWS ECS/EKS or equivalent cloud container services), and automated provisioning.

• Mastery in creating secure, automated pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or cloud-native tools) with integrated SAST/DAST, policy-as-code, and automated testing.

• Extensive experience in cloud/AI security standards, including IAM least-privilege, guardrails, compliance automation, and cost-optimization strategies.

• Professional-level Cloud, DevOps, or AI certifications are highly preferred.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

• Experience in leading technical workshops and presenting complex architectures to stakeholders.

• Capability to excel in a fully remote work environment.
