This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of intricate, cross-functional infrastructure and CI/CD systems, which include LLMOps pipelines.
• Define the technical vision for the area and lead design evaluations.
• Design and manage the complete delivery of complex infrastructure and CI/CD systems that span multiple services.
• Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Oversee incident response and conduct root-cause analyses for critical infrastructure challenges.
• Safeguard AI endpoints and autonomous tools against prompt-injection and data-leakage threats.
• Contribute to and help uphold security and compliance measures across infrastructure.
• Act as a primary technical point of contact for stakeholders, translating their needs into the infrastructure/AI-ops roadmap.
• Engage in the on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support.
• Occasionally deliver presentations on technical work to cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 6–9 years of experience in technology, with substantial ownership of infrastructure.
• 4–6 years of direct experience in architecting and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems.
• At least 1 year of informal mentorship of engineers or leading design evaluations.
• Advanced proficiency in cloud infrastructure, containerization/orchestration, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Capability to independently design highly available and cost-effective architectures.
• Ability to independently create CI/CD systems and deployment pipelines, including LLMOps pipelines for AI/ML models.
• In-depth understanding of operational signals in AI infrastructure, including latency, token cost, and drift.
• Experience in designing monitoring and alerting systems for AI infrastructure operational signals.
• Proven experience in mentoring mid-level and junior engineers on infrastructure design and secure AI-endpoint practices.
• Ability to present technical work to cross-functional groups of 5–10 individuals.
• Preferred: Cloud Professional-level certification.
• Preferred: Extensive experience with LLMOps at scale, including GPU provisioning and vector DB hosting.
