This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Ensure the reliability of the platform by establishing high-availability configurations, backup and restore processes, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Deploy and oversee services in both cloud and on-premises settings.
• Manage Kubernetes workloads, which include Helm deployments and GitOps workflows utilizing Argo CD.
• Automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop comprehensive technical solutions and infrastructure components from the ground up.
• Administer and manage PostgreSQL databases on Amazon RDS, incorporating backup, performance tuning, and version upgrades.
• Set up and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates and testing procedures.
• Implement and manage IAM and SSO integrations through Keycloak (OIDC/SAML).
• Establish and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Provide third-level support and engage in incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
• Assist in cloud migration initiatives, including planning and executing cutover strategies.
• Carry out infrastructure and service patch and upgrade management tasks.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and infrastructure-related challenges.
• Create Python and shell scripts to enhance operational and infrastructure automation.
• Contribute to the development of internal developer platform capabilities, including service catalogs and Backstage developer portals.
• Help maintain technical documentation in accordance with docs-as-code principles.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps Engineer position or a comparable infrastructure-focused role.
• Extensive experience in platform operations, ensuring high availability, and managing backup/restore and disaster recovery processes.
• Strong practical experience with AWS core services and Linux environments on AWS, particularly Amazon Linux.
• Solid hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Practical experience using Ansible for automating infrastructure and managing configurations.
• Experience with Docker and environments utilizing containerization.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and GitOps-based deployment practices using Argo CD.
• Practical experience managing PostgreSQL, preferably within Amazon RDS.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and the implementation of pipelines.
• Strong Git skills, including branching strategies and repository migrations.
• Practical experience with artifact management tools like Artifactory and Nexus.
• Knowledge of IAM and SSO concepts, including Keycloak and OIDC/SAML integrations.
• Proficient in using Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with incident management and processes related to third-level support.
• Familiarity with cloud migration and cutover processes.
• Experience in managing infrastructure and service patching and upgrades.
• Proficient in Python and shell scripting.
• Understanding of code quality practices and automated testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with platform engineering concepts and developer portals like Backstage.
