This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Assist in the creation of technical documentation, encompassing designs for system software architecture and IT products.
• Independently develop complete features from the ground up.
• Adhere to the engineering standards set by the team or project.
• Engage in estimation meetings and provide clarification on requirements.
• Take part in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
• Deploy services in cloud or on-premises environments.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in a DevOps Engineer position or a similar role focused on infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with platform operations, including high availability, backup and restore processes, and disaster recovery.
• Strong practical experience with AWS core services and Linux on AWS, preferably Amazon Linux.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Practical knowledge of Ansible for automating infrastructure and managing configurations.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments.
• Proficient with Kubernetes, including Helm and deployment workflows using GitOps with Argo CD.
• Practical experience managing PostgreSQL, preferably on Amazon RDS.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD and implementing pipelines based on established patterns.
• Strong Git skills, including knowledge of branching strategies and repository migrations.
• Practical experience with artifact management tools like Artifactory and Nexus.
• Knowledge of IAM and SSO concepts, including Keycloak and OIDC/SAML integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for monitoring and observability.
• Experience in incident management and 3rd-level support processes.
• Background in cloud migration and cutover activities.
• Experience managing patches and upgrades for infrastructure and services.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting for automation and operational tasks.
• Familiarity with code quality practices and automated testing.
• Understanding of platform engineering concepts and developer portals, such as Backstage.
• Basic knowledge of TypeScript and frontend development, including Backstage plugin customization.
