DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide the technical platform that empowers Application Development teams to efficiently deliver and operate business systems.

• Collaborate with the Principal DevOps Engineer and teams such as the Developer Community, Architecture, Central Platform Engineering, and delivery stream engineering groups.

• Uphold existing standards while actively contributing to their enhancement.

• Ensure that delivery stream teams effectively utilize the available tools and elements of the platform.

• Assist in upskilling teams and keeping them informed about platform tools and contemporary development practices.

• Implement technical life-cycle changes to maintain a supported, capable, and evergreen development platform.

• Support teams in designing and delivering systems that meet essential non-functional requirements, with a focus on reliability, robustness, and maintainability.

• Aid teams in diagnosing and resolving issues related to the platform and tools.

• Collaborate with the Central Platforms team as needed.

• Provide software infrastructure and tools to support delivery projects.

• Establish and refine best practices while sharing insights with other engineering teams.

• Experience with CI/CD (preferred)

• Proficiency in Kubernetes (preferred)

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (preferred)

• Knowledge of Pipelines (preferred)

• Understanding of Application Security (preferred)

• Awareness of Cloud Services/capabilities (preferred)

• General development experience with in-house systems (preferred)
