DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage and provide the technical platform that empowers Application Development teams to efficiently create and operate business systems.

• Ensure that the technical estate and associated delivery-stream skill set are aligned with departmental strategies.

• Collaborate with the Principal DevOps Engineer, Developer Community, Architecture, Central Platform Engineering, and other delivery-stream engineering teams to establish and advance standards.

• Guarantee that delivery-stream teams effectively utilize available tools and platform components.

• Facilitate the upskilling of teams and keep abreast of platform tools and modern development methodologies.

• Implement technical life-cycling changes, ensuring the development platform remains supported, capable, and up-to-date.

• Assist teams in designing and delivering systems that fulfill necessary non-functional requirements, prioritizing reliability, robustness, and maintainability.

• Support teams in diagnosing and resolving platform and tooling problems, collaborating with Central Platforms when necessary.

• Provide software infrastructure and tools to facilitate delivery projects.

• Define and refine best practices while sharing insights with other engineering teams.

• Proficiency in CI/CD.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines.

• Understanding of application security.

• Knowledge of cloud services and capabilities.
