DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in China.

📋 Description

• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of the SaaS platform across various environments.

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate fast, secure, and self-service build, test, and release processes.

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code to streamline infrastructure provisioning and management.

• Implement and enhance observability tools for metrics, logs, and traces.

• Monitor platform capacity and performance while proactively forecasting resource requirements.

• Investigate and resolve production incidents, contributing to root cause analysis and preventive measures.

• Assist engineering teams in integrating services with the platform infrastructure.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance automation scripting and infrastructure tasks, reviewing and validating the generated output.

• Collaborate asynchronously with engineering teams across Asia and Europe while navigating different time zones.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps or SRE Engineer.

• Strong comprehension of DevOps principles including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Configuration Management.

• Practical experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).

• Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Go.

• Effective communication skills in a remote setting, ensuring clear written communication and reliable asynchronous collaboration.
