DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ensure the seamless operation of cutting-edge production systems utilized by millions of users

• Design and sustain engineering tools, including process and work tracking systems

• Oversee CI/CD infrastructure and automate release processes

• Manage testing infrastructure across multiple environments and stages

• Analyze and address scalability issues and production-related incidents

• Execute system administration, integration, automation related to development, coding, and scripting

• Collaborate, share knowledge, and exchange insights with colleagues, QA engineers, and developers/engineers

• Guide and assist team members

• Identify opportunities for enhancing automation and engineering systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid computer science foundations, supported by a degree in computer science or significant experience in software development

• Proficiency with Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP within a cloud environment

• Strong shell scripting skills in a Linux setting

• Proven development experience in Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, C, and/or C++

• Capability to build essential engineering infrastructure utilized across the organization

• Established ability to offer guidance, mentorship, and support

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent communication skills for gathering requirements and sharing designs and updates
