DevOps Automation Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +3 more countries.

📋 Description

• Drive the DevOps Automation and AI initiatives

• Manage the GitLab infrastructure, establishing standards for repository setup, pipelines, and deployment

• Design, construct, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines

• Standardize and oversee unit, integration, and security testing processes

• Plan, coordinate, promote, and oversee application releases and updates

• Ensure the health and stability of automation and orchestration applications, plugins, pipelines, and functions

• Outline and document the environment and infrastructure requirements for cloud, virtualized, and physical deployments

• Define and document guidelines and policies for the safe usage and deployment of AI-assisted automation

• Collaborate with Security and Risk teams to continually evaluate security posture

• Engage with Global Systems, NOC, and Business Unit stakeholders for requirements gathering and deployment coordination

⛳️ Requirements

• 10-15 years of experience in IT is preferred

• Proficient in SDLC and CI/CD pipelines

• Skilled in release management and best practices

• Background in software development and engineering

• Experience with network and software automation

• Familiarity with monitoring platforms (Netreo is a plus)

• Proficiency in Python

• Experience with AWS

• Knowledge of Ansible / Terraform

• Experience with Jinja / Django

• Familiarity with Docker and containerization

• Experience with Nautobot / NetBox or other network management tools is desired

• Network engineering experience is desired

• Experience in international environments is desired

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related IT field (or equivalent experience)

• DevOps certification (AWS or Azure)
