Mid-level Platform Engineer – Media Production

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain backend services and APIs utilizing Java and Golang.

• Assist in the transition of services from the CMS vendor, including authentication processes.

• Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud and AWS platforms.

• Create tests and ensure the maintenance of robust CI/CD pipelines.

• Engage in code reviews, project planning, and participate in on-call or support rotations.

• Embrace an AI-first approach with the enterprise AI tools offered by the Associated Press.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in backend engineering.

• Proven production experience with Java or Golang, and a willingness to work with both languages.

• Practical experience with managed services on Google Cloud or AWS.

• Proficiency in building and utilizing REST APIs.

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database systems.

• Experience in unit and integration testing along with CI/CD practices.

• Regular use of AI coding assistants.

• Proficient in English.
