Development Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of Shopify development projects from the initial discussions with clients to the final launch.

• Convert business requirements into well-defined scopes, actionable strategies, and high-quality outcomes.

• Conduct project intake sessions with clients to gather design concepts, content, and requirements.

• Develop project scopes and cost estimates utilizing existing templates.

• Identify issues, ascertain stakeholders, and devise plans for projects lacking established processes.

• Evaluate development work for quality assurance prior to client handoff.

• Oversee client communications through email, Slack, and live calls, addressing requirements, feedback, and approvals.

• Coordinate Shopify theme upgrades, custom app development, site design and Liquid builds, Hydrogen headless development, landing page and SEO enhancements, as well as custom conversion tracking and reporting solutions.

• Manage between 8 to 13 projects concurrently.

• Ensure projects progress smoothly towards launch while effectively communicating timelines and release constraints to clients and developers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with enterprise-level Shopify projects, encompassing themes, settings, the app ecosystem, and overall integration.

• Proven track record in managing a team of developers and engaging with clients directly, rather than through an account manager.

• Highly proficient in Asana.

• Experience with product feeds and establishing feed connections into Google Merchant Center and Meta Ads (desirable, but not mandatory).

• Familiarity with conversion tracking for ecommerce and B2B (desirable, but not mandatory).
