This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and oversee a software development team responsible for designing, developing, testing, and delivering key product functionalities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, product stakeholders, and support teams to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Manage technical design, ensure code quality, prepare for releases, and provide production support.
• Direct proof of concepts, prototypes, and evaluations of new technologies.
• Offer hands-on technical leadership through architectural guidance, code reviews, troubleshooting, and engineering mentorship.
• Supervise, mentor, and support the development of direct reports through feedback, performance management, goal setting, and career development assistance.
• Organize and prioritize team workload, eliminate delivery barriers, and ensure that commitments align with timelines and quality benchmarks.
• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 8+ years of industry and/or relevant experience, typically with a minimum of 2+ years in an AVP level position or a comparable role externally.
• Preferably 7 years of experience in software development.
• At least 2+ years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational database principles.
• Expert-level proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as C#.
• Expert-level skills in SQL with a solid understanding of database concepts.
• Significant experience with the .NET Framework and ASP.Net is preferred.
• Familiarity with microservice event-driven architecture.
• Experience working in an AWS cloud environment, including hands-on experience with Kubernetes and ADO.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude and Cursor.
• Experience with MySQL, SQL, and DocumentDB.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps development methodologies.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies as required.
