This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Execute assigned Walk to End Lupus Now events through peer-to-peer fundraising, corporate sponsorship, team recruitment, and the development of committee and volunteer leadership.
• Organize and carry out regional Lupus & You Empowerment Conferences.
• Obtain sponsorships, venues, speakers, and partnerships with physicians for conferences.
• Oversee event communications, recruitment efforts, and follow-ups after events.
• Cultivate relationships with volunteers, participants, corporate partners, sponsors, and community leaders.
• Enhance understanding of lupus health issues, services, and the organization's mission initiatives.
• Incorporate the Foundation’s mission into all fundraising activities.
• Keep precise database records and assist constituents with fundraising software tools.
• Manage and uphold the Western Division’s presence on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
• Collaborate with the National marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
• Provide support for Western Division and national LFA activities as necessary.
• Execute other related tasks as assigned.
• 3–5 years of experience in implementing peer-to-peer special events, securing sponsorships, engaging volunteers, and coordinating committee development activities.
• Demonstrated success in exceeding fundraising targets.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Capacity to modify interpersonal and communication styles for varied audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Self-motivated individual capable of working independently and under pressure while managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
• High proficiency in computer software and applications, including Office 365, donor tracking databases, and fundraising software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, external customers, and vendors.
• Willingness to travel 25–30% of the time, primarily within the region.
• Availability for evening and weekend work, including Saturdays and Sundays.
• Comfortable working remotely.
• Ability to lift over 35 pounds.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Must reside in Arizona.
