This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collect requirements and create comprehensive solution specifications.
• Design, code, test, debug, and maintain SQL/database solutions.
• Create, develop, and sustain software applications tailored to client needs and business objectives.
• Develop both front-end and back-end solutions for web, mobile, and Windows desktop applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, consultants, developers, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure project delivery.
• Communicate across departments to validate business processes.
• Perform application and database testing to evaluate performance, security, and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve development bugs and issues.
• Implement unit tests and engage in code review processes.
• Provide technical mentorship and support to junior developers.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and programming languages.
• Suggest and execute enhancements to development processes, architecture, and tools.
• Document application and database architecture, code, and lifecycle modifications.
• Produce user manuals and other documentation for clients and end-users.
• Offer ongoing maintenance, support, and updates for existing applications and databases.
• Ensure compatibility with updated platforms and operating systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or a minimum of three years of database/SQL development experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in developing data-driven SQL solutions, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and ad-hoc queries.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft T-SQL.
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
• Demonstrated experience as an Application or Database Developer or a similar position, with a portfolio of developed solutions.
• Proficient in multiple programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, Swift, and JavaScript.
• Strong grasp of SDLC, agile methodologies, and version control systems like Azure DevOps and Git.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js and back-end technologies such as Node.js and .NET.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license, clean driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of valid auto insurance.
• All employees must undergo pre-employment screening, including background checks and drug testing.
• Experience with SAP Crystal Reports, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, and Microsoft BI Services is preferred.
• Experience in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction field, Finance, or integrated ERP systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or IBM DB2 is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform is beneficial.
• Experience with SQL Server Integration Services is helpful.
• Experience in Crystal Reports development is advantageous.
• SSH/PowerShell scripting experience is beneficial.
• Ability to work remotely.
• Full-time, exempt employment status.
