This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and sustain two-way integrations between ServiceNow and external platforms utilizing REST and SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs, and MID Server.

• Create and maintain server-side functionalities, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Transform Maps, and Import Sets.

• Automate processes using Flow Designer, subflows, actions, and Workflow to minimize manual tasks in ITSM and service delivery.

• Compose, optimize, and troubleshoot Snowflake SQL queries to extract, transform, reconcile, and validate data for reporting and the Client Portal.

• Construct and maintain Snowflake-ServiceNow data pipelines for device, asset, and ticket synchronization and deduplication.

• Enforce ACLs, roles, and data-security measures while adhering to least-privilege principles.

• Diagnose production integration failures, synchronization discrepancies, and performance challenges; determine root causes.

• Engage in code evaluations, manage update sets, and adhere to development-to-production release protocols.

• Document integration architectures, data mappings, runbooks, and technical resolutions.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders to convert business needs into scalable technical solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of practical ServiceNow development experience.

• Proficient in JavaScript, specifically within ServiceNow's server-side scripting environment (GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideSystem, and ES5 constraints).

• Demonstrated experience in creating ServiceNow integrations with REST APIs, including authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, Basic, API keys), JSON parsing, and error management.

• Practical knowledge of SQL: joins, aggregations, CTEs, filtering, and essential query optimization.

• Familiarity with Flow Designer and ServiceNow automation tools.

• Understanding of the ServiceNow data model, along with ACLs and role-based security.

• Knowledge of update sets, instance cloning, and multi-instance development cycles.

• Solid troubleshooting abilities and comfort in resolving issues that span multiple systems.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Preferred: practical experience with Snowflake, including querying, views, stages, tasks, or streams.

• Preferred: background in an MSP or IT services environment, or experience with RMM/PSA tools such as NinjaOne or ConnectWise.

• Preferred: knowledge of CMDB, IRE, or data deduplication methods.

• Preferred: familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, or Service Portal development.

• Preferred: experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, or Azure DevOps.

• Preferred: some experience in Python or other scripting languages for data-related tasks.

• Preferred: ServiceNow certifications, including CSA and CAD; Implementation Specialist certification is a plus.
