This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Engage in both existing and new web initiatives within the PRH Applications suite for users both internal and external.

• Develop, test, deploy, and refine technology products throughout their launch phase and initial lifecycle as they expand.

• Collaborate with the team to adhere to timelines established with partner teams both within and outside of PRH.

• Manage infrastructure, services, and frontend development in a comprehensive full-stack role.

• Work alongside PRH business units, systems, resources, and third-party technology providers.

• Contribute to flexible infrastructure, RESTful APIs, service-oriented architecture, and DevOps practices.

• Automate processes where feasible and create tools to enhance the frontend development workflow.

• Maintain professional and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Utilize problem-solving and decision-making abilities while exercising sound judgment.

• Manage multiple tasks and switch between them seamlessly without sacrificing efficiency or composure.

• Report directly to a Senior Manager in Application Development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with web-based technologies.

• Proficient in JavaScript and one or more programming languages, such as PHP or Node.

• Solid understanding of current web standards, including HTML5, CSS3, and ES6+.

• Practical experience with React/Redux or other JavaScript frameworks.

• Basic familiarity with WordPress development.

• Understanding of the AWS environment, encompassing S3, containers, Lambda functions, and Cognito.

• Awareness of Website Accessibility guidelines.

• Knowledge of the OWASP top 10 security vulnerabilities.

• Strong grasp of database concepts and the ability to craft complex, optimized queries in MySQL or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with AI tools like Copilot and LLM-based technologies.

• Basic knowledge of prompt engineering.

• Fundamental understanding of LLMs and generative AI concepts.

• Experience with object-oriented design principles.

• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.

• Understanding of source code management.

• Exceptional communication abilities.

• Experience in integrating AI APIs into applications is preferred.

• Preferred experience in developing AI-powered features.

• Preferred background in leveraging AI for development acceleration.

• Familiarity with designing and implementing RESTful APIs is preferred.
