Desktop UI Developer, AI Software

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Georgia.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance the user interface of the AI IDE.

• Create intricate, interactive UI components, screens, and workflows.

• Transform product and design ideas into refined, production-ready user interfaces.

• Manage dynamically generated interfaces and combine UI components built with various technologies.

• Create custom UI components, interactions, animations, graphics, and visual elements.

• Handle dynamic data, asynchronous processes, real-time updates, and complex application states.

• Ensure that complex interfaces remain responsive, efficient, and maintainable.

• Contribute to UI architecture and make technical decisions.

• Take ownership of UI features from implementation and interaction logic to integration, performance, and final visual refinement.

• Collaborate with backend engineers, AI engineers, and product/design experts to connect the interface with underlying systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in developing complex, interactive UIs for desktop or other applications, beyond just websites or simple web interfaces.

• Proficient in programming with Python and/or C++.

• Familiarity with JavaScript.

• Strong grasp of UI architecture, component design, application state management, and interaction patterns.

• Experience in creating custom UI components, non-standard interactions, animations, graphics, and visual elements.

• Knowledge of asynchronous programming, multithreading, and performance optimization in applications.

• Understanding of UI responsiveness and performance metrics.

• Meticulous attention to visual details, usability, and interaction quality.

• Capability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements and learn new technologies as necessary.

• Enthusiasm for modern AI technologies and interest in AI-driven development tools.

• Proficiency in English (minimum B1) and fluent in Russian.

• A portfolio or examples of complex interfaces developed is required.

• Experience with Qt / PySide / PyQt is advantageous.

• Familiarity with QML / Qt Quick is a plus.

• Experience with advanced animations and interactive visual elements is beneficial.

• Background in 2D/3D graphics, rendering, visualization, or multimedia is a bonus.

• Experience integrating design systems or Figma designs into production applications is appreciated.

• Familiarity with developer tools, IDEs, editors, creative tools, or AI/LLM-powered applications is a plus.
