Desk Property Adjuster – Lender Placed Claims

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +36 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in managing insurance and claims processes for Lender-Placed and Real Estate Owned (REO) properties.

• Collaborate with internal teams, lenders, servicers, and business partners to ensure prompt claim resolution and outstanding customer service.

• Utilize acquired knowledge effectively within the role.

• Learn to identify and understand essential elements of residential construction and repair.

• Recognize customer needs and respond appropriately using effective customer service skills.

• Employ company systems and technologies proficiently.

• Assess subrogation or fraud risks and manage related issues.

• Gain insight into company insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational dynamics.

• Conduct investigations into homeowner first-party claims that involve coverage, damages, and subrogation with limited discretion.

• Analyze policy and loan documents, perform recorded statements, evaluate coverage, verify damages, detect fraud indicators, and make informed claim decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in investigating property claims.

• Demonstrated experience in analyzing policy and loan documents.

• Experience in conducting recorded statements.

• Background in evaluating coverage and confirming damages.

• Ability to identify potential fraud indicators and make prudent claim decisions.

• Familiarity with Xactimate is strongly preferred.

• An active adjuster license or the capability to obtain licensure through reciprocity in relevant states is highly desired.

• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

• Individuals with an active insurance license must terminate all current appointments prior to onboarding and cannot hold external appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally surrender it as directed by the licensing team.

• A dedicated, distraction-free workspace is necessary when working from home.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is essential.

• Applicable active licenses may include Home Resident Property & Casualty License or similar designations.
