Desk Property Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluations of homeowners' property claims from initiation to resolution.

• Validate loss details, ascertain coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements within designated authority.

• Oversee the complete claims lifecycle, including supplements, Additional Living Expense claims, as well as contents and personal property losses.

• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and other stakeholders to manage claims accurately and efficiently.

• Provide clear and timely communication to customers throughout the claims process.

• Examine all facets of homeowners' first-party claims, including coverage, damages, and subrogation concerns.

• Manage claims with discretion and autonomy within an expanded authority.

• Collaborate with fraud and subrogation representatives as necessary.

• Recognize residential construction and repair elements, structural integrity, and home systems.

• Understand customer needs and deliver suitable service.

• Assess subrogation or fraud potential and determine the appropriate course of action.

• Utilize extensive knowledge of company insurance policies, the insurance sector, and organizational dynamics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as a Property Desk Adjuster.

• Proficient in Xactimate software.

• Solid background in claims management, including supplements, Additional Living Expense (ALE), contents, and complete claim ownership.

• Experience in both field and desk claims handling is highly desirable.

• Active adjuster license or a license that qualifies for reciprocity in applicable states is strongly preferred.

• Experience with agricultural, farm, and ranch claims is highly advantageous.

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• Must terminate existing insurance appointments prior to onboarding and may not hold outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must relinquish it when directed by the licensing team.

• Must have authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

• A dedicated, distraction-free home workspace is required.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is necessary.

• Relevant active licenses are required for the licensing sign-on bonus, if applicable.
