Design Lead – UK

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee design for brand campaigns, feature launches, in-product marketing, and ongoing marketing initiatives.

• Safeguard and refine the Casino visual identity and design system, which encompasses typography, color, layout, imagery, and iconography principles.

• Guide and assess the work of the team, offering constructive feedback.

• Partner with Product Design and Brand teams to ensure visual consistency across marketing and in-app experiences.

• Art-direct external photographers, illustrators, motion studios, and retouchers.

• Showcase design work to senior leadership and articulate the rationale behind design choices.

• Ensure design elements support responsible gaming by including clear disclaimers, easily discoverable responsible gaming messaging, and transparency regarding odds, value, and offer details.

• Familiarize with all brand touchpoints, evolve brand expression, and enhance output and process quality within the first 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in design for brand and digital platforms, with at least 2 years leading a conceptual design function.

• A portfolio that showcases system thinking and exceptional individual projects.

• Proficiency in Figma at an expert level.

• Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite.

• Capability to convincingly art-direct motion and 3D projects.

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

• Collaborative approach with marketing, product, and commercial teams.

• Experience in iGaming, sportsbooks, gaming, or entertainment is a plus.

• Knowledge of scaling a design system across various markets or regulatory environments is a bonus.

• Experience in building an in-house design studio from the ground up is a bonus.
