Design Lead, Foundations

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and enhance Assured’s design system.

• Consolidate fragmented systems and patterns into a unified, robust foundation.

• Establish patterns and standards that foster thoughtful, cohesive, and well-crafted experiences.

• Collaborate with Brand, Product, and Engineering teams.

• Align brand expression with product functionality and implementation.

• Develop tools and methodologies that empower teams across Assured to create scalable experiences.

• Investigate AI and innovative tools to expedite design, building, and iteration processes.

• Elevate the standards for craftsmanship, consistency, and accessibility across all products.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in product design, particularly in the context of design systems, platform experiences, or shared product foundations.

• Outstanding attention to detail and craftsmanship.

• Proficient in both interaction and visual design.

• Possess systems thinking skills with the capability to distill complexity into clear, scalable solutions.

• Proven experience collaborating closely with Engineering teams.

• Sufficient technical fluency to comprehend how design systems evolve into scalable product frameworks.

• Ability to partner effectively across Brand and Product teams.

• Capable of creating clarity, alignment, and momentum in loosely structured environments.

• Practical, hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Keen interest in AI and the future of product design and development.
