Design Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create scenarios that encompass rapid prototyping, iterative cycles, development of design systems, and collaboration between product design and engineering teams.

• Develop tasks related to AI-assisted application creation, natural-language-to-code workflows, and rapid prototyping within the Vibecoding subdomain.

• Formulate tasks for UX/UI design, design systems, component libraries, user research, and usability testing in the Design subdomain.

• Construct scenarios that incorporate AI coding assistants such as Cursor, Claude Code, v0, and Replit.

• Establish scenarios that utilize Figma, Framer, and tools for design systems.

• Implement iterative prompt-driven development, principles of human-centered design, and heuristic evaluation.

• Generate reference prototypes, code artifacts, design specifications, and reports on usability evaluations.

• Create rubrics that differentiate genuine senior-level product judgment from basic tutorial-level or template-driven work.

• Collaborate on projects aimed at training and improving AI systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in roles such as product designer, design lead, or AI-native engineer/vibecoder.

• Background at a prominent product or design-focused company, or as a significant independent/startup product developer.

• Proven direct ownership of product design systems or AI-assisted development workflows that have been delivered to production.

• Proficiency in vibecoding or design tools.

• Comprehension of user-centered design principles and rapid prototyping methodologies.

• A portfolio showcasing completed work is strongly preferred in lieu of formal qualifications.

• Previous experience in authoring rubrics, training, or design critiques is advantageous.

• Must be capable of functioning as an independent contractor.
